'Yondee' our new short film

I know you haven’t seen a film from us in a little while, but don’t fret we have been working hard the past few months on new content and a short film, which we hope to release by the new year. The trailer for the film will be coming very soon and we are super excited for you to see it!

The new film called Yondee is a story about a Contemporary Aboriginal Artist named Shane Hansen (Yondee). Yondee is a Nyoongar of the Bibbulmun nation from Dumbleyung, Western Australia. This short film explores Yondee's journey of rediscovering himself, his happiness and his culture.

Yondee channels the spirit of his ancestors when painting. Dating back 80,000 years his ancestors used art along with stories to educate younger generations about what was important to respect and protect.

He hopes to do as his ancestors have done for generations and teach through art. The difference is he aims to help everyone in the world achieve a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving and protecting the earth by helping them reconnect with nature.

Discover more about Yondee's handprinted art by getting in touch.

The film is part of a short series contributing to Permaculture the Documentary. If you would like to help our cause, we are currently accepting donations via our website. We appreciate any contribution made towards helping spread the word. Together, we can make a difference. https://www.dogsgowoof.com.au/permaculture-documentary

Those of you who have already donated, a huge thank you is in order! As a way of saying thanks, you will be first to see the new film and we look forward to sharing this journey with you!
